Don’t Take Chances With Your Vein And Vascular Condition
We are the recognized experts in vein and peripheral artery vascular care in Metro Detroit. The care of your vascular problems should not be left to chance, but rather should be in the hands of a board-certified Vascular Surgeon who specializes in these problems.
Our experience and expertise are unmatched in this region and we are often asked for a second opinion, to ensure that what you are being offered is the appropriate care for your condition.
If you visit us for a second opinion, we will listen to your concerns, perform a dedicated vascular exam and determine what testing might be necessary. We find that because other “vein centers” lack an accredited vascular ultrasound department, the ultrasound studies lack accuracy and precision and can lead to incorrect diagnosis. We repeat ultrasounds only if we find that it is necessary to do so, but we also perform ultrasounds that are unique to our practice, focusing on identifying the root cause of your problem.
If you consult with us for a second opinion, we will advise you as to whether your condition is best treated in a conservative, medical fashion or if it requires an intervention. If an intervention is necessary, we will guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you understand what your diagnosis is and how undergoing a procedure can make a difference for you. Our outpatient procedures are performed at our office, in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring your safety and enhancing your recovery.
We encourage you to become educated about your condition.
What sets us apart is that we take the necessary time with you so that you understand all aspects of your care. What further sets us apart is that your care will be guided by a board-certified Vascular Surgeon, with specialized training in vein and peripheral arterial problems.
We are happy to share with you Dr. Hernandez’ educational background (see section on “About Us”).
If you seek us for a second opinion and compare our approach to the care that you receive from other providers who are not board-certified in Vascular Surgery, and who have not received adequate training in the complex areas of vein and arterial disease, it becomes easy to understand why so many patients choose to get their care from us.
