Key Insights and Awareness
Understanding POTS
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) is a condition affecting the autonomic nervous system. It is characterized by an abnormal increase in heart rate that occurs when transitioning from lying down to standing up. Symptoms can include dizziness, rapid heartbeat, fatigue, and sometimes fainting. POTS can significantly impact daily life, but with proper diagnosis and treatment, many people manage their symptoms effectively.
For more information, join us at our upcoming POTS awareness walk event to support and learn more about this condition.
